Church Library Convention

The BGCT provides an annual convention (March 9-10 in Houston) for church librarians and their staff. This convention provides opportunities for fellowship and training sessions, while encouraging networking among church librarians. Each year the convention offers an average of 35 classes, many of which offer certification opportunities. The schedule provides such courses as training in library technology and software, methods of library science (cataloging, repair, publicity, etc.) and copyright, confidentiality and communication.
